Chief Justice Mumba Malila says the Judiciary intends to modify its infrastructure to enable people living with disabilities and the aged to easily access court rooms and administrative structures.
Dr. Malila has acknowledged that most judicial infrastructure built a long time ago do not have facilities that provide smooth entry of people living with disabilities and the aged.
He said this at the Supreme Court in Lusaka today when the Zambia Association of Female Judges handed over 10 wheel chairs to the Judiciary.
And Zambia Association of Female Judges President, Sharon Newa acknowledged that the wheelchairs will aid people with disabilities and the aged to access judicial infrastructure and services.
